Whew. The Global Game Jam, Ludum Dare, the Molyjam, our own Downtown Trimester Game Making Adventure — that’s more jams than we can shake a stick at, provided we establish certain stick-shaking thresholds. Goodness knows we can’t sustain this level of game jamming and programming.

Hah! Hogwash and codswallop! Early May saw the seventh iteration of Toronto’s TOJam — a wondrous 48-hour game-making marathon — and naturally, our Montreal contingent was there. You’d like to see the games, you say? How wonderfully convenient. We may have just the thing.
Ajoutons à cela TOJam, qui un peu plus tôt en mai, à Toronto accueillait son septième ultra-organisé Game Jam. Plusieurs d’entre vous ont participé à ce véritable marathon de production de 48 heures. Et puisque nous sommes bien fiers de vous, on veut absolument voir les petits bijoux qui ont été créé à coups de bonbons et de boissons énergisantes. Alors, prenons un moment pour voir et jouer à tout ça!

Oh, and a supplementary note: the June meetup will mark the official second anniversary of MRGS/SLMR. That is, the start of our third year. By the Shire reckoning. We think. In any case, many thanks to all you excellent and admirable hobbits for having given over your Wednesday nights and (frankly) Thursday mornings to making the community warm and fuzzy and kitten-like. Real kittens! So much fun. So much more to be had.
En plus, permettez-moi d’ajouter que SLMR/MRGS fêtera ses deux ans de merveilleuses rencontres, de jeudi matins un peu éméchés et de fabuleuses soirées! Joyeux anniversaire et surtout merci à tous de contribuer à rendre ces rendez-vous mensuels aussi passionnants.
