Retour sur notre troisième «Downtown Trimester Game-Making Adventure», bien sûr! Voyons ce que donne tous les projets du «game jam» ce dernier weekend!

So! Over the last few meetups, one thing has become clear: MRGS is growing! This is a wonderful thing; though it means of course we must stumble hesitantly out of L’Amère à boire and on to pastures new.
Our previous venue was still regrettably too small, and so the search continues. We’ve done the tour of promising bars downtown and beyond, and contacted a few we weren’t able to visit. We’ve compiled the options, we’ve listened to your comments on Facebook, we’ve run the data through an ENIAC, and the results are in! We’re undecided!
As such, we’re going to be trying out a few different venues over the next 2-3 months, and we’d love to hear your feedback.
This month: The Royal Phoenix! Out in Mile End, it’s accessible by bus and Orange- and Blue-line metros. It’s also got a fantastic vibe, good beer on tap, and even some rather incredible food. We are somewhat excited. Very excited. Excitebike.

Alors! Au cours des dernièrs rendez-vous mensuels, une chose est devenue claire: la SLMR est en pleine croissance! C’est tout à fait merveilleux, mais cela nous oblige définitivement à quitter L’Amère à boire vers de nouveaux pâturages.
Puisque notre dernière solution n’était toujours pas adéquate, nous avons fait la tournée d’autres bars prometteurs. Nous avons consulté les statistiques et tenu compte de vos commentaires sur Facebook, mais nous sommes toujours indécis!
Nous allons donc les essayer tous au cours des deux ou trois prochains mois — à vous de soumettre vos impressions!
Ce mois-ci: The Royal Phoenix! Dans le Mile End, c’est sur une ligne d’autobus majeure et tout proche des lignes bleue et orange du métro. On y trouve une super ambiance fantastique, de la bonne bouffe et de l’excellente bière en fût. Bien sympa, vous verrez!
